  We recently got married in Egmont and a lot of our friends and family stayed at the Backeddy Resort. Everyone had such a positive experience here. Any concerns they had were quickly resolved and they only had wonderful things to say about the staff. The food at the pub is delicious as well! We even chose to stay there one night after our wedding and were so ecstatic with the treatment we received from the owner of the resort. Thank you Peter and all the staff at Backeddy! We will definitely be back and will continue to spread the word about what an amazing place this is!

  To top it off staff are friendly and there is a great selection of drinks and cocktails. The view is worth a visit too.

  They do great tasty food at reasonable prices. They also offer gluten free options, on burgers and some starters. There cappuccino creme brule is a must too!

  Service was friendly and prompt, and the employees were very helpful in explaining the setup for ordering food/alcoholic drinks. Burger was slightly more charred than I would have preferred, but still delicious, as were the fries. Overall a very good place to stop and get a quick bite to eat with a view.

  Beautiful place,views and Amazing staff, who went well above and beyond to make our stay and wedding breathtakingly perfect. Not to mention all the food w chef Kevin was fantastic. Words cannot express my gratitude. Thanks again to the whole BackEddy family.
